Social interaction is extremely important for
people with brain injuries. A survivor is often unseen and unrecognized by the uninjured or uninvolved. When we speak
about our deficits, a common reply is, “Oh, I have the same problems!". Socializing promotes inspiration, happiness, acceptance, competition, building relationships,
and amazingly, strength.

  This is a peer-to-peer driven, non-profit,
non-clinical chapter/support group.
Additional support group will be
 organized to accommodate people’s schedules.
There are members of the military and other
people with brain injuries who are not aware
of BIANYS and their support groups.
They need our help.
Please pass this information on.
 Thank you,
